What is your role at Perenso and what does it entail: I am a Senior Test Analyst at Perenso. I'm part of the testing team and our goal is to find issues within our software, before releasing it, by performing a series of tests against it to ensure our software is as bug-free as possible. I also work closely with the developers by providing feedback, answering their questions, and contributing ideas for potential solutions.
How long have you been at Perenso: 12 years and counting
What is your favorite thing about working at Perenso: There are a few things but, mainly it is the people I work with and the ability to work from home.
How did you end up at Perenso: I finished University and had a choice to continue studying to get my Master's degree or find a job and start working. I chose the latter since I needed a break from studying and wanted some real-life experience working in the IT industry. Luckily, I found a job listing from Perenso on my University Job Search website, applied for it and then landed the job.
The most exciting thing you’re working on: Learning and implementing an Automated Testing System that will help improve our testing.
Where is the coolest place you’ve traveled? One of many cool places I have been to is Odaiba in Tokyo, Japan. It's a good place for food, entertainment and shopping. Also, I got to see the famous Gundam statue.
Which season is your favorite and why? My favorite season would be Winter because I sleep better when it's cold. Also breathing in the cold air feels refreshing.
Name an item on your bucket list. Going to an outdoor hot spring while it’s snowing.
Do you have any pets? I have two pets, a Pomeranian named Lucky and a one-eye tuxedo cat named Jelly.
