Employee Spotlight: Stevie Hearon

Meet Stevie - Perenso's quirky and creative marketing associate, who is a devoted sister, Volkswagen enthusiast and Rocky buff!

Hometown: Fort Lupton, Colorado

What is your role at Perenso and what does it entail: I am a marketing associate here at Perenso. My main responsibility is to create content. I create the majority of the videos and graphics that can be seen on all of our social channels, our website, YouTube, and many of our internal documents. I work in conjunction with the sales team to align my content creation plan with their sales strategies.

How long have you been at Perenso: It has been 5½ years - I started working at Perenso as an event tech, in 2018.

What is your favorite thing about working at Perenso: My favorite thing about working at Perenso has consistently been the people I get to work with. Getting to travel and explore new cities is pretty awesome too!

How did you end up at Perenso: My older brother, Paul, was working at Perenso at the time and told me about the event tech position that would not only allow me to work alongside him but also travel around the US. I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life at the time, so I decided to apply for the job, and the rest, as they say, is history. 

The most exciting thing you’re working on: The most exciting thing I have coming up is a few Case Studies. I get to sit down with some of our customers to hear about their experiences with Perenso and find out how we were able to help them sell better at their events!

What is the strangest food combination that you enjoy: It’s not really a food but, I love the little ice from Sonic and Chick-fil-A! I like to order a large cup of it, sprinkle it with some pickle salt, and crunch on it as a late-night snack.

Do you have any pets: I have 2 dogs - My baby girl, Lily, is a 3 and 1/2-year-old English Bulldog, and Dash, the rowdy younger brother, is a 1-year-old Beagle.

Name an item on your bucket list: For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to sleep in a glass igloo beneath the Northern Lights. As it happens, I am going to be checking that item off my list next month – I couldn’t be more excited!

Do you have a favorite quote? What is it: My favorite quote comes from my favorite series of movies, 'Rocky' : “It ain’t about how hard you hit, it’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward – that’s how winning is done.”

How do you like to spend your time when you’re not working: When I’m not working, you will find me hanging out with my family, cruising somewhere or working on one of my cars, or exploring colorful Colorado!
